Wade Ardery has had a lifelong passion for exploring the arts. In 2000, he received his bachelor's in Cultural Studies and Comparative Literature from the University of Minnesota where he also began taking studio art. He discovered The Atelier Studio Program of Fine Arts part-time classes in 2012, quickly enrolled in the full-time program, and graduated in 2018. He frequently paints and exhibits with Outdoor Painters of Minnesota, winning the 2025 Quick Paint Award at Red Wing 2025. Wade's teaching aims to make classical techniques accessible to all and especially enjoys helping students make the transition from drawing to color painting.
