Brock Larson first began drawing at a very early age under the guidance of his father, Jeffrey Larson. He started his training in high-school with Charles Bargue copies and cast drawings before moving to Minneapolis to pursue a formal classical education at The Atelier Program of Fine Art, where he studied full-time for five years. In his final year of school, Brock began teaching part-time classes in which he continued before moving to his hometown area of Duluth, MN, to help his father establish and to co-direct at the Great Lakes Academy of Fine Art. Recent honors include: Two ARC scholarships, an ARC salon finalist award, and he was selected as the annual Minnesota State Bar Association's presidential portrait painter. Brock's work is represented through Collins Gallery in Orleans, MA, as well as Edgewood Orchard Gallery in Door Country, WI.
